The Neuro-Rehabalitiation department at the Sticht Center asked Dr. Mackowsky to return to discuss updates on any advancements in the field Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation. Staff members were shown the newest testing strategies and therapy interventions that Dr. Mackowsky’s clinic offers.

Dr. Mackowsky was invited back to lecture to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation faculty at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center/Sticht Center January 16, 2015. She presented the latest types of vision rehabilitation services that are available for patients who have had a Traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumor, spinal cord injury, etc.
