Dr. Mackowsky Lectures at NORA 2018

Dr. Mackowsky was invited to lecture at the 2018 NORA General Conference held in St. Louis. She, along with Katie Stephens, PT, (from Steps for Recovery) discussed how to assess visual mildine shifts, determine best prism corrections and perform therapy procedures that restore postural balance and improved gait.  Over 350 attendees were at this meeting.

The 2018 WakeMed SHINE Conference offered evidence-based information for health care providers caring for patients with neurological or neurosurgical conditions from onset through the continuum of care to rehabilitation. Dr. Mackowsky was invited back to present her best practice recommendations to promote excellence in patient outcomes.
