Dr. Mackowsky was invited to lecture at the NCSOS Fall Congress in Asheville, NC. She gave a presentation about neuro-optometric intervention with Stroke/TBI patients. Members of the NC State Society were able to receive 2 continuing education credits. She also held a work-shop for the doctors and para-optometric technicians reviewing screening/testing strategies to help the physician know when a referral should be made to a neuro-optometrist.
